Design Strength: Testing

PLAST-AX guarantees that every FEL bin we manufacture complies with the performance requirements of BS EN 12574-2:2017.

The tests include a continuous 100 lift-tilt cycle at the ‘heavy waste’ load of 400kg/m³. Full video recordings and a comprehensive Test Report are readily available on request.

Lid Options

Lids on the 3m3 and 4.5m3 front end load bin models open against the ribbed rear panel in a tongue-and-groove layout, distributing impact across the full surface area. A recessed lift point in the rim provides easy access while maintaining lid strength.

Lockbar

Our lockbar and bracket sets are hot-dip galvanised for corrosion resistance and can be retrofitted to existing bins. Each component bolts securely into captive female fixings built into the reinforced box-section rim.
