FRP Grate

An optional Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) grate is available for both IBC and drum bunding applications. The grate provides a durable working surface for repeated container movement and helps minimise splash in the event of a spill. By dispersing liquids into the internal flow channels, the grate improves overall spill management and extends the service life of the spill control pallet.

Design Features

With a footprint of just 1400 mm², the PLAST-AX IBC solution allows multiple units to be positioned efficiently within confined areas. This compact design supports better site layout without sacrificing capacity or safety.

The pallet is rated to support loads of up to 2000 kg, accommodating chemicals with specific gravity up to 1.8:1. A 50 mm BSP drainage bung is included, complete with a removable ¾ inch centre insert, allowing safe and controlled drainage when required.

For added flexibility, units can be repositioned using a forklift and include moulded channels that allow storage on pallet racking systems. This makes them a practical choice for facilities requiring adaptable bunding solutions across multiple storage areas.
